Best solution for peeling nails?

My nails have been peeling for months now, and it's really starting to drive me up the wall. I already take a multivitamin and biotin, so i don't think I'm deficient in any vitamins . For those of you that have issues with weak and peeling nails, has anything ever worked for you?

Do you paint your nails? I find that I can't put any polish on my fingernails, even high quality kinds, without them peeling. It seems like it weakens them. If anything, I'll leave polish on my nails for only a day or two before removing it.

It might help to buy a buffer, like the 4-step ones at Sephora, and gently buff away the part of the nail that has peeled so that the nail is smooth and not jagged or ridged - it looks better and it'll prevent the nail from peeling further.

Yeah, this...the more often I paint them, the more they peel.

I use Sally Hansen's Natural Nail Growth Activator + Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I highly recommend both!

Make sure you keep your nails and cuticles well moisturized.
Also, what kind of file are you using? I find if I use anything other than a glass file, my nails peel really badly.

Do you take antidepressants? Weak nails are a side effect of prozac

Also you could try taking flaxseed oil supplements. They make my nails grow super fast so I have to cut them alot, thus no more peeling
